Honeycomb

This crunchy honeycomb is so satisfying to eat, all the bubbles popping in your mouth before that sweet honey flavor kicks in.

Makes: 1 sheet of honeycomb

Takes: 30mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Caster sugar

  • 1/4 cup Water

  • 1/2 tbsp Baking soda

Instructions

  1. Heat a big pot up on the stove over high heat.

  2. Add in sugar and water and mix until it reaches 160c and turns an amber colour.

  3. Line a square cake pan with parchment paper.

  4. Add in the baking soda to the sugar mixture stirring continuously until it starts to rise.

  5. Add to the pre lined pan and wait for 20 minutes or until hard to the touch.

  6. Break into bite sized pieces.

  7. Enjoy!
