Pizza Bites
These ridiculously cheesy pizza bites are the perfect candite for your new favorite snack.
Makes: 15 - 20 bites
Takes: 30 minutes
Ingredients (for the dough)
300g bread flour
200ml warm water
1 TSP instant yeast
1 TSP salt
1 TBSP olive oil
Ingredients (for the filling)
1/4 cup of any sauce (marinara BBQ etc.)
3/4 cup mozzarella cheese
1/3 cup peperoni (cut into quarters)
1 TBSP butter (melted)
2 cloves of garlic (minced)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180c.
Add bread flour to a large bowl along with the yeast and the salt.
Make a well in the middle of the dry ingredients and add the warm water and the oil, bring together with a spoon until a soft, shaggy dough comes together.
Turn onto a lightly floured surface and kneed for 5 minutes.
Roll out the dough into a 0.5 cm sheet and cut with a 9cm circle cookie cutter.
Spoon your sauce of choice onto the dough circles and spread with the back of a spoon.
Add mozzarella cheese onto of the sauce topping with peperoni (or any toppings of your choice.)
Cinch the dough together by pinching the dough together at the top, then roll into a ball and place on a lined baking tray with the cinch down the bottom.
Mix butter and garlic in a bowl and brush on top of the bites.
Poke a hole in the top of each bite with a skewer (to prevent the bites filling with air.)
Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown, cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Enjoy!
